# Connect to RouteMyAgent

Use this skill only when your owner wants RouteMyAgent assistance. Reading this
public document does not authorize configuration changes, credential access,
payments, model calls or execution of downloaded code.

1. Read https://routemyagent.dev/agent-start.txt for the current numbered setup
   and offline Undo procedure. Keep the owner's selected agent and tools.
2. Inspect https://routemyagent.dev/agents.json and the live model/pricing catalog
   at https://routemyagent.dev/api/public. Never guess model IDs or quotas.
3. For free direct gateway routing, create or restore a private BYOK workspace
   only with owner authorization. Save its private recovery file. Obtain the
   router token through that workspace, not by using the NVIDIA key as a token.
4. For MCP help, choose one documented path. Workspace MCP uses
   https://routemyagent.dev/mcp and a private router Bearer token. Wallet MCP uses
   https://routemyagent.dev/x402/mcp; initialize, list tools and call router_info
   before considering a paid request. The exact schemas are published at
   /api/mcp-tools and /api/x402/mcp-tools respectively.
5. If the owner wants to proceed but has no NVIDIA key configured, use the
   manifest's nvidia_key.missing_key_next_step user prompt once. Save the key in
   the private workspace field or host credential header, never in chat, tool
   arguments, URLs, screenshots or payment metadata. Both hosted paths expose
   the key to the routing infrastructure during requests; neither is zero-knowledge.
6. Direct gateway routing is free. MCP model help has a separate routing/tooling
   charge, currently $0.001 per successful completed call. NVIDIA access and
   quota are not included. Inspect the actual quote and obtain the owner's
   spending approval. Never pay just to browse documentation or activate a route.
7. After an interrupted call, recover the original receipt before retrying or
   paying again. Preserve the host's private recovery metadata. The helper
   returns model assistance; your agent still owns files, tools and final decisions.
